Sunday 13 May 2012 • 23:02 • 2 black leave(s) Imagine you come across a job advertisement that reads; immediate vacancy, must have organisational skills, know how to cook and to diffuse a stressful situation, usually all at the same time. Expect little or no pay. Compliments are not guaranteed. only sporadic appreciation once in a long time. Driving licence required. probably no one would apply for the job. yet it pretty much describes what mothers do. if ever there is one award for the most noble job in the world, being a mother would be it. the responsibility of raising and nurturing a fellow human being, what can be more noble than that? nothing peeps :D becoming a mother is a huge transition for any woman. it signals the end of personal priority and the beginning of endless work. fortunately, mothers all over the world have discovered the beauty of parenting. this is probably what spurs them on day to day, year to year. they would have captured many beautiful moments in their journey of raising another individuals. as sons and daughters ourselves, we must never forget our mother's sweat and tears. mothers must always be at the most noble place. IBU- the queen of my heart. IBU.. thank Allah for sending me, ibu. for her jobs have no working hours. she's up when ayah and me are still in bed. toasting bread. thank Allah for giving her strength to cope with all the demands only with two hands. preparing us food, tidying up the house. there are no salaries, no compliments, no bonuses . ibu, i dont know what to do. i can't live without you. show me, guide me and help me. i wont be who i am, if not for you. please forgive me for all the hurts, all the raised voices and careless words. often times it is us who always misunderstood. thank Allah for supplying her with love, actually quite a lot of those, there is no other reason for her to be, because you love me..so very dearly. HAPPY MOTHER'S day MUM. =) <------ MMUUAHHH. |
